Situated 9 miles North East of Dundee, the repeater has an output of 15 watts into a dual band colinear. The repeaters service area covers from around Brechin and Montrose in the north, the Ochill and Lomond Hills in Fife to the south and, as the name implies, into the Angus Glens in the west. Note - August 2004 - ctcss alteration - GB3AG should now only transmit ctcss when it is receiving a valid signal on the input - this brings it into line with the other CSFMG ctcss equipped repeaters and makes it easier to interface echo link and similar applications.
